Hello World.

Hi, I’m G—but if you’re here, you probably already knew that.

Welcome to It’s Just My Opinion

Where I attempt to make sense of the chaos, one opinion at a time. Some of them might be unpopular. Some of them might be exactly what you’ve been thinking but didn’t know how to say. Either way, I’m here to talk about what shouldn’t be dividing us- but somehow keep pushing us further apart. Right now, that means a lot of politics (because, let’s be honest, it’s a mess), but this isn’t just about politics. It’s about the bigger picture—society, culture, identity, and the narratives that shape us.

If you’re wondering how I convinced myself this was a good idea… I didn’t. It’s not. But if I’m going to scream into the void, I might as well make it count. I’ll be giving my kids something interesting to look back on.

One day they’ll be able to read this blog—my diary for the world— born from a reality that started feeling like a fever dream. Lately, I can’t scroll through the news without thinking, Oh, so logic is just optional now? I’ll be the first to admit I have a flair for the dramatic but at some point, you stop being able to ignore the pattern. And maybe we can be the ones to say, It ends with us. It really would be the most poetic.

That’s why I’m here—not to push an agenda, not to stir the pot for the sake of it, but to have real conversations. To figure out why we’re so divided and if there’s still a way back to actual discourse. If we could engage just long enough past the irritating feelings and find somewhere we can agree.

Right now, we’re like Wall-E, dumping the diamond for a broken box.

We are all shaped by experiences, perspectives, and—let’s be honest—the echo chambers we fall into. But at some point, we have to ask ourselves: What if we’re getting this all wrong?

I don’t have all the answers. But I know this—we’ve lost something real. We don’t need to go back to ‘the good old days,’ just far enough to when things still meant something

As we try to get there, let’s remember:
We are all just products of our environments.
Nothing is ever that black and white.
And at the end of the day…

It’s all just my opinion.

– G
